Widerstand gegen das französische Atommüll-Endlagerprojekt CIGEO Infoveranstaltung: 24.April / 19.00 Gasthof MeuchefitzNach 20 Jahren Kampf gegen die Einlagerung von Atommüll in Bure
(Frankreich) wächst noch immer die Entschlossenheit der Aktivist*innen.
Im Jahr 2016 wurden viele Strategien (Klagen, Sabotage der Baustelle, Demonstrationen …) verwendet, um die Zerstörung des Bois Lejuc durch ANDRA (nationale Agentur zur Entsorgung von Atommüll) zu stoppen. Die Mauer, die illegal von ANDRA im Sommer 2016 um den Wald gebaut wurde, konnte unserer Wut nicht widerstehen: Wir rissen sie ab und halten seit über 6 Monaten den Wald besetzt.
2017 bringt große Herausforderungen mit sich: das Massaker des Waldes durch ANDRA zu stoppen und den Verkauf des Bois Lejuc zusammen mit dem Einwohner des Dorfes Mandres anzufechten. Die Besetzung weiter aufrecht zu halten, die auch die zwanzig geschützten Arten, die vor kurzem auf dem Gelände entdeckt wurden verteidigt (z.B. Fledermäuse, Reptilien,Eulen und Katzen), die ebenfalls durch das Projekt gefährdet sind.
Im Jahr 2018 will ANDRA die endgültige Genehmigung erhalten, 99% der hoch radioaktiven Atomabfälle Frankreichs 500 Meter tief in der Region Bure zu begraben. Dieses katastrophale Projekt wird nicht nur in Missachtung der Umwelt durchgeführt, sondern wurde mittels Korruption, greenwashing-Propaganda, Repression und Einschüchterung der örtlichen Bauern vorangetrieben.
ANDRA dachte, sie könnten ihre Mafia-Methoden ohne irgendwelchen Widerstand der Bevölkerung durchsetzen; Damit lagen sie grundfalsch! Heute kennt die Unterstützung für unseren Kampf keine Grenzen: Von Notre-Dames-des-Landes nach Pyhäjoki, Hambach und Gorleben wird die Solidarität täglich stärker …
Wir laden Euch ein, sich dem Kampf in Bure anzuschließen! Im April werden einige Aktivist*innen von Bure eine Info-Tour durch Deutschland machen, damit wir uns treffen und mehr über unseren Kampf informieren können.

Bure’s anti-nuclear struggle: Info tour in Germany
After 20 years of struggle against the burying of nuclear waste in Bure
(France), the determination of activists is still growing.
In the year 2016, many strategies (legal actions, sabotage of the
construction site, demonstrations…) were used to stop the destruction of
the Bois Lejuc forest by ANDRA (national agency for disposal of nuclear
waste). The wall illegally built by ANDRA in the summer of 2016 around
the forest couldn’t resist our rage: we tore it down and our occupation
has gone on for nearly 6 months.
2017 brings great challenges: stopping the massacre of the forest by
ANDRA, contesting the sale of the Lejuc forest together with the
inhabitants of the village, extending the occupation further in the
woods, defending the twenty protected species recently discovered on the
site, such as bats, reptiles and cats cohabiting with a population of
boars, dears and owls, also endangered.
In 2018 ANDRA wants to get the final authorization to start to bury 99%
of France’s most radioactive nuclear waste 500 meters deep in the region
of Bure. This disastrous project is not only done with disregard to the
environment, but was pushed forward thanks to financial compensations,
green-washing propaganda, repression and intimidation of the local farmers.
ANDRA thought they could use their mafia style methods without any
resistance from the population; they were deeply wrong. Today, the
support for our struggle has no borders. From Notre-Dames-des-Landes to Pyhäjoki, Hambach and Gorleben, solidarity is getting stronger on a
daily basis…
